Factory Reset a Terminal
1) From the Dashboard:
- Click on the name of your terminal.
- In the next screen, click Actions, then Deactivate. This should factory reset the terminal if the terminal is connected to the Internet.
A confirmation will appear asking if you are sure you want to deactivate the terminal.
Click Delete.
- The terminal will reboot and display an activation message.
2) From the Terminal:
On the terminal keypad, hold down the magnifying glass button (bottom-left, above the red X) for 3 seconds until it beeps.
Press the magnifying glass button twice quickly.
Two icons will appear. Tap the BlockChyp icon labeled Utilities.
Select the button labeled Reset to Factory Defaults.
A warning will appear that states that the terminal will need to be reset and will need to be reactivated to run transactions. Confirm that prompt.
The terminal will reboot and display an activation message.
